A Pastel Performance!

My friend and I went to see the beloved musical, The Lion King, at the Straz center! It was my second musical, and I loved it. The costumes were impressively creative and some of the voices were heavenly. I went with soft pastels and fabrics for this fancy look. I may have to buy this dress in every color, considering how inexpensive and versatile it is. In the heat of summer I could wear it by itself, or on a chilly night, just throw on a cardigan.

Playful Plaid

This top is extremely soft, lightweight, and comfortable! I had David snap these photos quickly at the Henry B. Plant museum; such a gorgeous place with antique furnishings and artifacts. We also went and saw Pride & Prejudice & zombies (I really enjoyed it). It was a nice night out with friends, and this top made me feel fun & fabulous. The shoes on the other hand...No. I had to change out of them because they kept slipping off; anyone wear a 7.5? Lol. I'm usually a size 6.5 - 7,  so I'll probably replace them soon with the pair I linked below because a nude pointed pump is a great staple!

The weather has been so perfect lately! Unfortunately, we don't get seasons here in Florida; its either extremely hot or a little chilly. I prefer the chilly times, which are only from like January to March. So, I'm soaking up getting use out of my "warmer" clothes as much as possible.

Last night we went to a town hall meeting and out to dinner with my family. This is the first time I got dressed in real clothes all weekend because i was working (I wear scrubs or athletic attire)...wahhh. Anyway, they gave me a valentines bag full of so many goodies that i will absolutely post later-
