Vibrant Summer Maxi Dress

Happy Ash Wednesday, and hope you're having a great week so far. I utterly adore this maxi, especially for in the heat of the summer. Today, I styled this vibrant maxi-dress with some darling accessories. Normally, I wouldn't go for something with such a busy pattern or so many shades. After trying it on, I found it to be perfect for so many occasions and you're sure to stand out. You could wear something like this for a day in the city, date night, church, or a summer picnic.

A Pastel Performance!

My friend and I went to see the beloved musical, The Lion King, at the Straz center! It was my second musical, and I loved it. The costumes were impressively creative and some of the voices were heavenly. I went with soft pastels and fabrics for this fancy look. I may have to buy this dress in every color, considering how inexpensive and versatile it is. In the heat of summer I could wear it by itself, or on a chilly night, just throw on a cardigan.

My First Blog!

The weather has been so perfect lately! Unfortunately, we don't get seasons here in Florida; its either extremely hot or a little chilly. I prefer the chilly times, which are only from like January to March. So, I'm soaking up getting use out of my "warmer" clothes as much as possible.

Last night we went to a town hall meeting and out to dinner with my family. This is the first time I got dressed in real clothes all weekend because i was working (I wear scrubs or athletic attire)...wahhh. Anyway, they gave me a valentines bag full of so many goodies that i will absolutely post later-
