#NSale Wish List

Unknown
In case you didn't know, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is something to get excited about! It's a once a year event when they come out with brand new fall merchandise...and put it on sale (insert smiley emoji here) It's basically the opposite of what every other store does when they do end of season markdowns on the items that are leftover.

This is especially wonderful for a planner like myself and for anyone who wants to get the hottest items for way less. I've already started planning fall outfits for a few trips that I'll be taking this fall, because Lord knows I wont be wearing any of it here in Florida until December -__-.

The "nsale" began on July 14th for Nordstrom cardholders, but it goes public for the rest of us on this Friday, the 22nd. Many items sell out quickly, so you bet Ill be online at a ridiculous hour and at the store on friday morning. I may even beg my friend Abigail to brave the crowd with me, lucky her ;) After the sale, the prices go back up to regular price, which is why I felt moved to share my wishlist picks with you! Hope you lovelies get everything your heart desires & more!

Top Ten Picks:

Nars is known for quality blushes that are normally $30 each. With four blushes, a highlighting blush, and a bronzing powder at $65, this palette is a no-brainer for all makeup lovers like myself.

These boots are calling my name. Booties are so versatile and this color is just gorgeous.

If I were to pick only one item from the entire sale, it would be these tights. I've read great reviews and it's basically all I wear during fall and winter!

Who doesn't love a good over the knee sock?? I'm just torn between blue or black. The blue are more fun and remind me of a snowy winter day, but the black would match more pieces and I can picture wearing them with tall boots and a dress.

These boots are also calling for me (surprise). Granted, living in Florida, I will only get use out of these from December to February, but regardless I think they are a staple and will be mine.

This dress is a great price and what I imagine to be the perfect transition piece for every season. From summer sandals, throw on some tights, boots and a scarf and suddenly it's made for fall. It comes in like 10 different colors, but this one if my favorite.

This tshirt looks so chic and its under $16! Could quite possibly talk myself into getting one of every color once I try it on (my husband isn't so sure about getting EVERY color lol).

If you don't have many makeup brushes, this set would be great for you or make a good gift!

Really hoping that they restock this one in tan, because I absolutely adored it even more in that color. Such a good price for a quality cardigan.

I've been on the hunt for a great fitting flare leg pant for years now, these could be it and under $50 isn't a bad thing either!

Thanks for dropping in & I'll be letting you know what I actually get!

Gotta blast, God Bless!

DIY Pom Pom Keychain

Unknown
Surely, you have seen the brightly colored pom pom trend floating around on social media, not to mention in real life. If not, I am thoroughly surprised and wonder if you live under a metaphoric rock. It seems to be everywhere; on shoes, clothing, key chains, purses, etc. Cute, brightly colored balls of fluff, sign me up! So, I decided to make my own key chains to give as gifts to my friends, and lets be honest- to myself. These will also make great stocking stuffers in different "winter" colors. You can find all of the supplies needed at Michaels or your local craft store. I linked everything I used at the bottom of this post, including the video tutorial I learned from on youtube :)

One Dress, Two Ways

Unknown

My Cute Photographer --->

I hope that you all had a festive holiday weekend! We traveled to Chicago f or a family wedding, and had a wonderful experience on a boat architecture tour. If you're ever in the city I definitely recommend it; truly beautiful and informative. We spent the rest of the time relaxing (and eating too much) with my in-laws. If only those types of weekends could last a bit longer!

This dress has been my favorite duo piece all summer long. It's lightweight, and easily transforms from a swimsuit cover-up to a fun dress to wear out. All I do is put a slip underneath of it when I want it to be a regular dress. This will be perfect for vacations to cut down on the packing list, because the Lord knows that I need all the help I can get in that area! Take a look into your closet and see what you can do to make a dress like this more versatile.
